Are your cells dead or alive?
According to World Health Organization (W.H.O), every individual passes through three zones of life. These zones are:
- Vibrant Zone
- Tired Zone
- Sick Zone
These three zones of life are illustrated below:
Between 0 – 25 years, the graph shows that we are in the vibrant zone. This is the age whereby your cells are very vibrant and active. You can afford to do anything you wish. You can run, jump and play football, if you can remember all you did at this age as a little child or teenager.
Between 25 – 50 years, the graph shows that you move into the tired zone. Here, your cells are getting tired and you can no longer do most of those things you used to do when you are much younger.
Between 50 –75 and above, the graph shows that you enter the sick zone. At this age, your cells are completely tired and sick. This is the age where all kinds of sicknesses and diseases begin to appear such as: High blood pressure, Diabetes, Arthritis, Cancer, Joint pains etc.
For you to be in the vibrant zone, i.e for you to have good health, W.H.O advices that every individual should always do three basic things on a daily basis. These are: Rest, Exercise and Good diet.
- Rest contributes 10% to a good health
- Exercise contributes 10% to a good health
- Diet contributes 80% to a good health.
The minimum recommended sleep required daily is 8 hours at night and 1 hour as siesta during the day but today, many people do not meet up with this requirement; they are too busy with work that they do hardly rest.
The benefits of rest are:
- It improves mental alertness
- It calms the nerves and prevents hyper activeness
- It aids digestion and proper metabolism of energy.
Exercise is another important factor If we want a good health. It includes climbing the stairs, jogging, running, bicycling, skipping, press-up, even dancing is a form of exercise.
Benefits of exercise are:
- It helps the blood to circulate properly
- It increases energy
- It helps the joints to be flexible
- It helps one to grow and look younger
- It stimulates proper functioning of the heart, kidney and brain.
The third requirement is diet. Diet is very important because it contributes 80% to a good health. According to W.H.O we need to eat a Balanced Diet.
What is a Balanced Diet?
A Balanced Diet is a diet that contains all the food nutrients in the right proportion or quantity. These nutrients are referred to as “The Chains of Life”. They are six in number. These are: Carbohydrate, Protein, Minerals, Enzymes, Vitamins and Lipids and Sterols.
Among these 6 nutrients, which one do you eat more?
Your answer is probably Carbohydrate and Protein. Due to lifestyle changes today, our diet lacks the other four nutrients.
Among the 6 nutrients, which one is the most important? LIPIDS AND STEROLS.
FOOD PYRAMID/WELLNESS PYRAMID
Percentage as to how we should take these nutrients
Whole Grains – 50%
Fruits & Vegetables – 30%
Proteins – 15%
Fat and Carbohydrate (Sugar) – 5%
The recommended daily requirement of whole grains by the WHO
7-9 plates of Soya Beans
124 slices of Wheat Bread
7-9 plates of rice bran
The human body contains 73 Trillions cells and scientists have discovered that by the time human reaches 25-50 years old, about 10,000 cells is lost on a daily basis (Gosh!). By the time we reach 50 years and above we would have lost about 50 millions cells and that’s the reason we end up in the sick zone. (This is the dead man walking stage which is becoming a trap for the ignorant ones)
For this not to happen to us, we need to feed our cells with Lipids and Sterols which we can only get from whole grains.
Today, however, we have turned the food pyramid upside down, that is why we have bad health.
As a result of turning the food pyramid upside-down, we have a lot of CHRONIC DISEASES.
It is alarming! This happens to people early than normal as a result of poor diet.
Some of these chronic diseases are:
- Heart Diseases. e.g
- High Blood Pressure
- Heart Attack/Cardiac Arrest
- High Blood Pressure and Hypertension often lead to STROKE
Most disease is as a result of lack of essential nutrients in the diet
Food scientist confirmed that apart from accident and virus, most disease is as a result of lack of essential nutrients in the diet – which makes up 80% of your health.
This means that if you are feeling funny or have health problem; the first place to start is the diet. If you check your diet and you can discover the shortage of nutrients or too much of some particular foods and correct this, you will soon feel vibrant again.
Everyone need essential nutrients to live longer.
Just check your health status to know you are eating the right nutrients. Do you sleep well? Do you past waste daily? Is your digestion okay? Do you have energy all day? Is your vision clear? Is your skin, nails hair okay? Do you have constant pain like back pain or all over? Check your pass week and see how few fruits and vegetable were included in your diet.
Your body knows better and it will show signs of lack of nutrients in the above areas even though you are not yet sick. Many people manage to go on with all these minor problem until they break down but wise people these days have taken their health into their hands and leave the emergency to doctors to handle.
How to Live Longer
The body is made up of cells from head to toes. You can feed, repair and replace damaged cells daily with the right nutrients. You can also poison the cells with poor nutrient.
To improve your health, follow these few steps below:
1) Balanced Diet – Full of nutrients
3) Drink clean water
5) Protect yourself against virus
6) As much as possible avoid accident of all types
Start with your diet and supplement it to meet the required nutrients, exercise for at least 10 minutes daily and rest for at least 10-30 minutes daily.
By all means drink clean water preferable use latest water filter – alkaline machine to get clean water.
For virus or bacteria, protect yourself by including fruits and vegetable in your diet daily.
How do I maintain a vibrant health
Simple! A balanced diet (rich in all nutrient) so you can feed your cells right, feel good and live long.
But I have two news for you. Bad news and good news!
Bad news is important and life sustaining nutrients are badly missing from our modern day diet.
Good news you can get all the nutrients by supplementation. You need to supplement because many of us cannot meet the daily nutrients requirement in our diet. You will know this because the body will get tired quickly with little work and have minor health issues which if not properly handle can lead to chronic health challenge.
People who care about vibrant health supplement their diet to sleep well or to have pain free body and enjoy all day energy. That is what you will get if you supplement the right way.
You can start supplementing your diet for optimal health. A complete food supplement contains all you need for living.
Personally I have researched and daily use food supplement to nourish my cells. There are other food supplements for bones, male health, female health, heart, etc.
